Everyone Wants to Live Long -Only a Few are Ready to Make Sacrifices

Researchers have studied aging for decades, finding different explanations for why people’s bodies and minds get old differently. Today, people understand how a body cell ages. Therefore, we also know how to achieve a longer and healthier life. So why are many still not ready to pay the price?

Why is Movement so Difficult?

When your body has already got hours of rest at night, why is it so damn difficult to move your ass before breakfast? You would get good blood circulation to boost your health the entire day. The reason is the comfort zone.

Waking up late after snoozing and grabbing a cup of coffee on the couch seems much more effortless. However, the more straightforward options you take, the more you suffer in life.

Progress makes us feel alive, and progress doesn’t come in the comfort zone. So whenever you always choose where the fence is the lowest, you end up missing maximum benefits that could help you to turn your mornings into beautiful days.

Why is Eating Healthy so Difficult?

Are you often taking the most straightforward option? For example, buying ready-made processed food or choosing the ones you think taste best but are not healthy? Processed foods contain additives, like sugar, extra salt, and preservatives, which keep you graving for more. If you tried a nutritious diet, you could get more energy to do things and would never want to return.

For me, eating healthy has become a passion. I’m enthusiastic about going to a grocery store and planning my meals for the week. Simple and clean are my power words. However, I haven’t always been like that. Although I have never suffered with overweight, I once was a real candy hamster.

Today, I use cheat days once in 1,5 or 2 weeks to boost my metabolism. If I have tried to have something unhealthy too often, I lose my energy and feel disgusted. It’s not about what I miss with this diet but what I get into my life.

Why is Finding Your Purpose so Difficult?

I tried the corporate world working for 15 years during my studies and after graduation from law school. Something was always missing. Processes, organizations, and working methods were too heavy. The change those companies were aiming at always seemed so distant on the horizon.

Leaving felt difficult, and I had so many excuses before something happened. When I became a victim of a massive crypto scam, I finally found the courage to quit my 9–5 work. Nothing felt risky and scary anymore after going through an event like that. That’s when I decided to follow my passions in writing and art.

I didn’t find the right direction for myself before I found God a couple of years before the scam. I started listening to the voice inside me, and He guided me towards taking this path. God is not in fashion these days, so you can decide on your own whether to seek Him or not.

You need to try new things, jump on the edge, and take risks to find what you truly want. No one comes to tell you that on your couch while holding a remote control and numbing yourself with entertainment.

Why Leaving Toxic Relationships is so Difficult?

Having a circle of like-minded people with positive energy is one element for keeping your mind young. Conversely, wasting energy with the wrong people drains you into the negative side, creating anxiety and stress and making you get older quicker.

Been there, done that. Love has never been the easiest thing for me in the past before I found the reason; Myself. Before I learned to love myself from my toes to head, I was spreading toxic vibes around me.

We humans don’t leave relationships because of fear and become easily attached, even when it’s unhealthy. Only after you love yourself can you start spreading the love around you. Having compassion towards yourself is something where most people have a lot of work.

Staying young is not rocket science, but small daily actions improve your chances of staying younger and healthier. If everything else is in control, but you still allow toxic thoughts and emotions to poison your peace, you’re out of the game. Let go of things that haven’t served your life for a long time, whether they were; emotions, items, or people.

Why do You need to Start Today?

Even minor daily changes can improve your health and make you live longer. Starting anything new can feel challenging at first. Still, when anything becomes your new solid habit, it becomes a routine that flows into your daily life.

Having these habits in my life doesn’t make me miss out on anything. I don’t miss sitting on the couch, binge-watching Netflix, and eating candies daily. In return, I have energy and a positive mindset that takes me through a productive day.

Become mindful about what kind of life you want to live. Fix your routines and lifestyle so you can live a long healthy life and enjoy this miracle we have been given.
