The ONLY Way to Stop Procrastination
It’s brutal and simple; start today. I could quit my blog writing here, but I will follow with a short explanation so that you will understand how simple it is.
Write Your Goals Down
There is something that has been on your mind for a while. Something that you have wanted to start, but even beginning to think about how big it is, makes you feel overwhelmed.
Written goal setting can be an efficient way of getting important things done.
So, WRITE YOUR GOALS DOWN. In writing, goals wake alive and become real in a person’s mind. When you see them in writing, your intention to accomplish them becomes more vigorous.
Junk Your Vision into Tiny Steps
As an artist, I sometimes fear an empty canvas and, as a writer, a blank screen. Starting a massive new painting or a book feels intimidating without slicing them into smaller steps. I begin my journey with a tiny sketch or a book’s name. Then I need a plan for different phases and schedules in the project.
When the giant is sliced into more manageable pieces, it does not feel frightening anymore.
